Montrose performing "Make It Last" @ Rib America in St. Louis, MO on May 28, 2011. Ronnie is backed by Keith St. John on vocals, Rodney O'Quinn on bass guitar and Sandy Gennaro on drums.
This is pathetic. First up it sounds like shit and boring. Whomever you are singer, button up your shirt, the belly-flab over the belt NEVER works. The last time I saw Ronnie Montrose put on a good show was with Gamma and jeez that was 1984? That might tell ya something.
@schadcta Sorry you missed out on seeing the mighty Montrose in concert, and by THAT MUCH, too! Hopefully we both get our chances to see this band, because I'm sure it won't disappoint, as long as they show up!
@luv24real My buddies and I had front row seats to see Montrose in Sacramento in the late 70's. It was sure to be GREAT, but never materialized for us - Ronnie got sick and it was canceled!
A live version faithful to how its sounds on the first Montrose album, and the band sounds sharp! Great singing, great playing, all the way. Never have got to see Montrose live, and I'd sure like to...hope they come to Tucson some day.
That was a great show.....and that guy in the Blue Angels hat taking pictures in the beginning of the song is me :)
