Stefan & Damon - ["Outside" by Staind] - collab with Supsi85 & iNewbieJD!!

I had collabed with each of them twice before and all 4 times the collabs turned out SO epic and became some of the videos I'm MOST proud of out of like all of my videos.

And I really wanted to try to do a 3-way one sometime with both of them since as 2-people teams me & Suvi and me & Julie alike were epic... :P

About 1 month or so ago, I heard this song in my iTunes and had been rewatching itsjackiebiitch's EPIC you're gonna be the one that saves me ;; stefan&damon (3x08) vid:

And so I got it in my head that this would be a really perfect Stefan/Damon vid. And that I'd wanted to vid Stefan/Damon for forever but it always seemed like such a daunting challenge but if we did it as a 3-way collab it might not be so bad. I also suggested that we could do a different song or relationship or even a different show if we wanted - all 3 of us know The Office and Scrubs to some extent too - but they said they liked the idea and so we did it!

I cut up the song into 19 parts which isn't a multiple of 3 lol but some parts were longer and others shorter, we just all had the same number of seconds total to vid. We took turns making our parts so as to not repeat clips. Supsi85 was amazing and did the rendering/coloring/watermarks in the top left corner and she also typed up ALL of the voiceovers on the screen - and I just double checked them after she test rendered. ;) You know, checked the spelling and stuff. Thank you SO much Suvi for all the extra things you did to make this collab GREAT. :D

We worked so hard to match lyrics and the beats/rhythm/pacing of the song and also capture most of the amazingness that is Stefan & Damon's canon platonic brotherly relationship with the use of tons of voiceovers, etc. Let us know what you liked best or if there was anything you didn't like or whatever! I love Staind, but I hadn't heard this song before, so thanks lol I love it. Anyway, this vid is awesome. What a perfect portrait of the relationship that Stefan & Damon have with each other. You three really managed to capture it well from all it's angles, the good and the bad. Awesome awesome vid.

@carebeargirl0614 I didn't think (nor say) that you were stupid! I just was confused by your comment a bit. But we did show Stefan looking in on Damon from the outside multiple times. Such as 2:49-3:16, that's all mainly Stefan's POV on being on the outside and seeing through Damon to the real Damon... also just moments like 3:36 ("all this wasted") are clearly Stefan watching Damon and then again at 4:20 those "I'm on the outside" lyrics again from Stefan's POV... :P

@carebeargirl0614 Lmao what?! You know this isn't AU or anything, right? There's no "storyline", it's a true-to-the-show video about Damon & Stefan's relationship as brothers. It's not pro or against Delena - it's neutral to all ships. The voice-overs are all typed out on screen to help you. I'm not sure what confused you.

OMG I LOVE IT the story line i couldn't quite understand but it is amazing the image is PHENOMINAL but......and im a Delena shipper but i think the song would be AMAZING in a seson 3 flashback to season's 1 and 2 type of video which must consist of thier kiss in season three sparking it all lol but thats just my idea opinion....LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS VID TOTTALY SUBING

I have one word ...PHENOMENAL. and damn there was a lot of audio in there! It came so fast too it was hard to keep up! But I absolutely loved everything about this vid, the scenes were perfect, the pacing and the audio as well. I love Damon & Stefan's relationship and it was showcasted perfectly here. They've done so much to each other and for each other, this showed both their flaws and their honor. You 3 did a wonderful job, be proud!! :D
