  • another thing ive seen fat sparks fat joiners fat plumbers but ive never seen a fat plasterer before, not that fat anyway,

  • lewis is spot on this guy hasnt got a clue, pva plasterboard ? why would you do that, I only do that on very rare occasions when the board has been up for months and has discoloured it goes off quick on board like that but ordinarily never pva board and where the hell did he get that trowel off the market made in china, he should advise a novice to use a marshalltown permashape pre broken in trowel if he wants to give them a fighting chance

  • You can't beat a bit of bully

  • This guy is fat

  • This guy is fat

  • get yourself a marshalltown or a tyzac mate, not that 3 quid B&Q trowel

  • Another thing, they helpfully tell you how much time between phases, but that's not much use if they don't also tell you how long they expect the phase to last. They talk about precise timing, and that's all well and good but if you're a novice and you do the wall at snails pace, obviously the times between phases are going to change. The video left me unsure about some details, I guess I'll get that by trial and error, but I'd have expected a bit more hand-holding from something like this.

  • I bought the DVD, it is OK, but it only covers the basics in the video. Nothing about light switches, wall sockets, ceiling roses, window reveals and all the other stuff you problably need to deal with for the average job. All the demos on the videos are about plasterboard, I guess you have to check the manual that comes with it for info on plastering onto bare walls.

  • how long have you been plastering then? never i bet if you think he is good. he aint got a clue if he knew anything he wouldnt mix his skimming like water he wouldnt pva plasterboard and he would go over his scrims with a thin coat 10 or so mins before skimming. you both aint got a fucking clue

  • @lewis1990ful

ah shut up, your plastering vids are rubbish, this guys has sold over 2000 copies and there are lots of people who have had major success with this, it is rated as one of the best plastering dvds.
