Always wanted to know how to make funny shapes with the bokeh balls? For example, heart-shapes, stars or some other less conventional shapes such as words. We take a look at the Bokeh Masters Kit but Kai also thinks he can make his own DIY version for less than $25.

For those who have more money than time, buy the Bokeh Masters Kit Special here:

  • "I think by durable it means you can wee on it and it won't smell." LOL

  • what did you use to stick the board to the lens tip?

  • 1:19 thought my screen was dirty

  • @cozomozo1 No You Didn't !!!

  • what is BOKEH????

  • amazing!

  • Can't believe that someone actually manifactures and sells such a thing... and oh, the word "bokinator" in Italian has actually a very, very strong "trasgressive" meaning...

  • sir you are a genius thank you for existing

  • Cokin made cardboard filter cut outs like this 30yrs ago and are still available, just slide into a cokin filter holder, and screw into your filter ring (no elastic band or plastic covering your lens) £3/4 with adapter on ebay. I bought black matt cardboard from a craft shop 50p for A4 size, enough for 6 cokin P size filters, a craft knife scalpel £1.50. Used an old filter as a template, cut to size, then my own custom shapes.

  • you can either do my way or the kai way!
