The Chrysler LHS was redesigned for the 1999 model year, and the Chrysler 300M was introduced the same year. Both were modified beginning with 2001 models to change airbag deployment characteristics. The LHS was renamed the Concorde Limited beginning with 2002 models.

Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement was well controlled. After the dummy moved forward into the airbag, it rebounded into the seat without its head hitting any stiff structure that could cause injury.

Injury measures — Measures taken from the head, neck, and chest indicate low risk of injuries to these body regions in a crash of this severity. Forces on both tibias indicate that injuries to the lower legs would be possible.
