Hey! So I need your help! My dog is having symptoms of being pregnant.. I think. THe nipples closest to her legs are swollen. She isn't very active, and her belly area is bigger than the rest of her middle section. Please help me!

I just noticed that.

@AsnLinh Sorry but no, The white is a yellow lab and she was bred with a chocolate for this litter of yellow and chocolate pups.

our dog had our puppies at 1 in the morning, she has been a good mom even though this is her first time...We haven't used collars yet, we have them, but we also know which one is which. And we can't weigh them...they're too light for the scale to pick up. So right now, I'm bored. She's a good mom, but we have to make sure she doesn't try to go under the bed (again!) but any advice? They're still on their first day and cry, sleep, move, and use the bathroom...And I'm playing baby music for them.

@shadowangels27 First see if your scale does grams vs pounds/ounces. for small breeds this is the best way to weigh them and weights are important to know if your proactive. Many breeders don't weigh pups but many also loose because they don't know there is a problem. under bed is quiet she would like a space that is quieter than you have chosen for her, try a quiet room, even tent the whelping space with a blanket that may be enough to help her. best of wishes with ur pups

thank you puppy 20000... the last litter I had July 2009 if I hadn't had the ID collars I could very well have lost a pup we named Max. He couldn't nurse due to a nerve defect at birth and even our vet is amazed that now nearly 10 months old If your going to produce a litter of puppies you are responsible for them and getting them to adulthood and beyond. they are your responsibility even 10 years down the road.

Stupid, why do you put ropes on them?
BlackmazeN 1 year ago
They are not ropes and not a stupid idea at all. The different collars Identify each puppy and by doing so I am able to watch each pups weight and health and if one is falling behind it is easy to tell which one.
