This is the drawing process of my fanart of Hinamori Amu's Amulet Diamond transformation. She's the lead character of this cute anime called Shugo Chara. You won't see this outfit until episode 43 ^_~

Use layers, sweetheart :) I use one or two layers for the line-art and one layer for each color underneath :P

:O I WANNA DO THAT!!!!! xD it came out perfect!!!!! i can only draw on a peice of paper i can draw on art to but not as good..... but awsome drawing skills!!!! by the way.... how do you get the software for it?

About half of my art starts out as a paper doodle. That's a good way to start~ Take a picture of it or scan it in and mess around with it in open canvas, sai painter, corel draw, photoshop, paint shop pro or whatever graphic program you use.

If you want the software, just google Open Canvas 4.06 It's the last free version of Open Canvas as far as I know~

Or, you can google SAI Paint Tool. It has a free 30 day trial, and after that a life long subscription costs about 36 dollars or so?

the roundness and shading made it look like those 3D anime, and i hate those. but it was such an awesome drawing and so kawaii! o and try to make ur eyes feel more like theyre being focused, like theyre looking the way theire pointed in direction and not absent-minded
