  • I'm doing this for Honors Choir in my district! This is also the Counties choir piece for auditions. Such a beautiful solo, all of their voice's timbre matches perfectly. :)

  • @xstarxgirlx21 Thank you so much for sharing your comment. I'm sure your concert wil be fabulous and you are so lucky to sing this and share this glorious music with your felllow choir members.

  • This is the best choral group I have heard on youtube to date. We sang this in the eighth grade at ISOMATA SCHOOL OF MUSIC IN 1978. SURE WOULD BE NICE IF THE ENTIRE SCHUBERT MASS IN G COULD BE HEARD WITHOUT BREAKING IT INTO PARTS!

  • @equestra77 Thanks so much for watching. Sorry the whole work isn't posted,,, the purpose of my site is to serve as an introduction for both the audio and visual fine arts. I am encouraged you were able to perform the work at your school. Thank you again.

  • cant wait till i do this in honors chours

  • @lectrashine Thanks for watching. I'm sure your performance will be terrific!

  • Played string bass part on this. This movement was fun, and the Gloria was a killer!

  • Sang the full piece in High school back in 1995. One of my favorite works and solos to date. I have to agree with mangott.... why do they insist on breaking this into parts for listening? Luckily, we recorded the performance back then.

  • @manoeltheophilo Thanks for your comment. So glad you liked the singing, just a thought about the american R, I wonder if Schubert would mind or more importantly, would God mind?

  • Perfect! Soprano sings beautifully! The exact timbre for this piece! The only thing is that this american R doesn't fit in KYRIE and CHRISTE... you can obviously tell this is an american choir/soloist by the way they sing their Rs.
