@aria230 Nice exclusive clip of the beat down....I have run this river a bunch. It's a pretty terminal hole at that level. You would most likely get body recirced in there for awhile.... Everytime I see this vid, I'm still very impressed by the tenacity. Props!

@pitchandmiss Have you seen the drop in person? From the vid it looks like swimming out of it would be possible but I havnt seen it so its hard to tell

@pitchandmiss I think there was enough room for him to bail and swim to shore. The clip was fast forwarded at that point.

I think what most here are missing is the shape of the drop being like a horse shoe, him swimming here could have been fatal. I don't think he held on to be a badass I think he held on to stay alive.
