I absolutely LOVE the HP Drive Protect feature. As soon as you move the laptop too much or drop it the harddrive immediatly stops.

I have the 8530w, I have been using it extensively for the past 1,5 years, recharging it twice each workday and using it for +-8 hours a day and it's still as good as new. Although the screen has bent slightly because I carry it on my hip and it gets bounced around quite a lot
