The Northern Belle DRS 47828 & 47818 7 Jan 2012

With steam workings scarce at this time of the year I thought as it was a sunny day and the Northern Belle has a colourful livery then it would be worth a look. Unfortunately the matching locomotives were not on the stock today and are seen passing Coton Lane at Tamworth on their way to London Kensington.

What a great open location. Like you say, a great train of coaches spoilt by two blue locos. Still, nice shot. All the best..

Very nice shot and location John and it was only just with the Pendo thankfully it was going a lot faster.

@981smithy Phil, This is a very busy stretch of line and with four tracks there is a high risk of another train blocking the view. The Pendo made a nice introduction to the video.

This working does look superb with the matching engines on this stock. A great shot and still looks great with the two blue 47's -Hayden.
