@QTGaming Hi there. I was at AP for 3 weeks and it wasn't really enough time. I have to be honest and say that 2 weeks is really not enough time to enjoy everything. At the 2 week point you just start to hit your groove. It's better than not going at all though. You will love every moment you are there, It is magical. One piece of advice...bring as many memory cards as you can it is hard to find them in Zim. You will be taking thousands of photos and videos. :-)

@animalcompassionate Im going there the 21th of January 2012. How long did you stay at the antelope park? cause Im going there for 2 weeks, but I think thats not long enough is it? haha. I read the book Born wild written by Tony Fitzjohn, do you know that book? If not, you should really read it, the book is the reason why I am going! I am soooooo looking forward to my stay at the antelope park(:

When did you actually take this footage? I volunteered at Antelope Park in Oct 2009 and Damisi (male) and Dahkiya (female) were my favorites. Dahkiya passed away several months ago and I was devastated by the news. Thank you for posting this video and letting me see her again...happy. It made me cry seeing my babies again. Also, the Born Free music just makes me weep anyway. It was after watching that movie that I decided to go to Africa. Saved my money forever and then my dream came true.
This was filmed in November 2009, we went back on hols to visit my family in Bulawayo. We spent 2 nights at Antelope Park, did the lion walk and elephant ride etc. Glad you liked the video - I am a wild life freak, love anything non-human.
