In 1959 a Youngstown, Ohio housewife, Sadie Vimmerstedt, sent an idea for a song along with a suggested title for it to Johnny Mercer. Mercer liked her idea and penned the song today we know as "I Wanna Be Around". It was first popularly recorded in 1962 by Tony Bennett as a follow-up to his mega-hit "I Left My Heart In San Francisco", and the song peaked at #14 on the pop charts in February of 1963.
Thanks for posting the original song with great upload
