The Brand new Active Loudspeakers from Bang & Olufsen!!! shown here with BeoVision 7-40 - 40" LCD TV/CD/DVD with motorised floor stand. BeoLab 9 are the latest addition to the comprehensive active loudspeaker range and include the amazing 'accoustic lenses' seen previously on the BeoLab 3, BeoLab 5 & BeoLab 7.4. Speakers.

The 'Lenses' give an even spread to the sound from each speaker and the result is the 'perfect sweet spot' between left & right speaker is evenly spread between the two ! ie when listening to music, you don't have to sit in the middle to get the 'even' ballance !

If you get the chance to listen to these amazing speakers, DO !!!!

Priced at just over £5,000.00 you STILL won't be disappointed ! ( that's for a pair of them !!)

  • So does anyone know if there is / has to be a subwoofer in this set up. Because the low notes at 1:00 are absolutely awesome.

  • Hi, we used to have the BeoLab 9's set up with the BeoLab 2 Sub-woofer - but when playing music would find that the sub would hardly be audible - the lab 9's being perfectly capable of handling the bass. During movies etc in Dolby5.1etc the sub would take over and handle a larger proportion ofthe bass - therefore, the addition of the sub enhances the experience given that in 5.1 or DTS info goes to the sub that doesn't go to the main speakers. hope that helps, John :)

  • hey, im thinking of buying some new speakers as my JBL's are pretty crap and old. I would only be using it for my computer, but i do enjoy good quality of sound...what speakers do you think would be most suitable for this? Thanks.

  • Hi Budge125 Have a look at the BeoLab 4's - they are active speakers but small, compact and give a great sound performance.....2 types are available, the full spec and a special pair called BeoLab 4 pc designed specially for that very use - check them out at your local dealer :))

  • I really love this :D

  • I don't think anyone would argue that you can get 'better sounding speakers' - the difference is they would be at least 3 times the size, cost the same and also be attached to a huge orrible amplifier ! - Bang & Olufsen is all about aesthetics, quality and value - don't take my word for it - ask anyone who owns a system ! :))

  • Don't get me wrong! i loved the brand...the tv is downright UGLY, along with the beolab 9....if i pay attention with the tv swiveling and all then NO ONE really understand what's in the PROGRAM lol lol lol..........
