I was there in 1994 with the Royal Danish Lifeguards and was even in the clip!

I am Brazilian and I was vivting England with my son for the first time! He was only 3 years old in July, going 4 in August! It was the best thing we did in England! It was fantastic, amazing! Why did they stop with that?

The Royal Tournament ended in 1999. I was there and still have the programme!!!!!

Maybe we should have a 2009 Government review and cut New Labour? But, maybe I should move back from the States, its not that great over here...

It finnished in 1999... I was at the last one!!! It was the best thing i have ever seen... some of my dad's friends were on parade but unfortunately my dad wasn't... We should start on online petition to bring back the royal tournament because it is the best!!!!! My dad's in the RAF and he says it is a really good show of strenth to the public and a great morale booster..... Bring it Back!!!!!

The last ever royal tournament closed on the 2 August 1999 after the labour party decided it would be a good cost cutting measure in the 1998 Strategic Defence Review.

the tournament ended in 1997. god knows why, it was the best ad for the forces ever! and now would be a good time to bring it back, support for the troops it at an all time low, and as gordon brown would say, it ''promotes britishness''.
