Great video. I did not expect that at all. I just searched for beautiful paintings and was fooled the whole time. I even had trouble making out the name at first while the music was building suspense. It couldn't have been anymore perfecct.

At first I was thinking: Hmmm, these paintings really are nothing special, and when the author's identity was reveald, I thought: Well ok, that explains why he was rejected from art school due to not having much talent. Pretty mediocre paintings and drawings tbh.

It makes you think how completely different of a world we would live in if he was accepted.

I knew he dabbled in art, but I had no idea how prolific and talented he was until just recently.

I read recently that he was denied entrance to the art academy because he could only do buildings, not people. Can't remember where I read this. I thought it was wikipedia, but I just checked, and no. In any event, it's odd, because while he obviously prefers buildings, there's no indication he can't do people. Damn art snobs!

Yeah, it seems like they might not be legal to have in some places. Very strange concept.

All of these are in the tens of thousands. Most of them are actually available to purchase.

They are all by the same artist as far as I can tell.

I found one that was a gorgeous rendition of Jesus (!) as a baby with his mother, but some sites seemed to indicate that it may be a fake, so I left it out.
