For reasons unknown the window glazing videos on Youtube are benchtop or workshop demonstrations.
About 98 percent of the window glazing I have done in the last thirty years havebeen on windows attached to an ACTUAL BUILDING in the fresh air, sunshine, wind, traffic noise et.al.
So for those of you who want to see a contemporary project here is a 2010 bookend to the original Window Glazing Montage I made with a video camera back in 1994.

@PNWGlazier Replacement putty is an incredibly labor intensive, lengthy process. In most houses an insulated vinyl window crew can replace the entire house worth of windows in one day or less. No painting, no cleanup. Unless it is a historic property replacement putty is no longer a viable economic choice for most people.

Great video. I'm 29, & I don't know 1 guy that knows how to run putty. It's a lost art.....

Also go to the blog for additional pictures and notes. For some reason I cannot post the link in a message.

@CharityAgain
Be sure to see the original window glazing montage video, it is more thorough.

Thanks... this will help me tremendously. I have an early 50's paned storm door that most likely has never been redone to work on.
