Spencer's beliefs isn't a point of contention here. He is open about that, it isn't relevant to the topic. The judgement we have to make is whether he has a worthy case. The claim he makes, in so far as I understand it, is that Islam's insinuation into western culture is a bad thing. He presents empirical evidence and draws justifications from the doctrine of Islam.
