16th March 2011, Tibetans in Ngaba of Sichuan, commemorated the 3rd anniversary of crackdown in 2008. A young monk, Phintso, from Kirti Monastery, burned himself to protest Chinese brutal suppression. After being beaten by military police, he died in the next morning.
Phintso's brave action aroused more protests from monks in Kirti Monastery. Therefore, Chinese military police encircled the monastery. At the night of April 21, Chinese military came into monks' rooms, and arrested more than 300 monks, then took them away with 10 military trucks. Two old people outside the monastery were beaten to death. Most monks arrested were tortured badly. Some of them were secretly tried and all are still detained.
This event continues until now, the Tibetan people in Ngaba need your attention...
