Dark Forces was Lucasarts first FPS game using the Jedi Engine which had more features then the Doom Engine. Thank you for your great comments and high ratings for my DOS Classic: Lemmings video.

  • if doom wasn't release that game never born.... so i think doom is the true classic... and mother of every fps...

  • @paulandrodney Hell Yeah!Agreed

  • @ronald369

What hell you talk about engine? It didn't MATTER! It is not important to say about Doom's and this game's engine.

  • You will have to type SETUP then you should be able to find a sound blaster opinion. DOSBox use your game's sound blaster program, so use Sound Blaster 16. Be sure you test the sound before you can play game! I hope i help anything.

  • Gotta love that synthesizer opening. :)

  • Im not gettin sound in this game with dosbox can you guys help please?

  • Played 10000 times... BEAUTIFUL!

  • 00bean00 is spot on - you could really get in to the game's atmosphere - because of the interesting story, and the music and sound effects were a massive part of this. I remember guiding my mate through the sewer level over the phone from memory....when I get time I am going to play through it again on the PS3, but the PS1 emulation is crap on it!!

  • There are 2 secret areas in this level, they require jumping off the top floor outside. One looks like a cave, the other is more of a hidden base. Never knew what the purpose of those goggles where, though you're not supposed to have them until level 3.

  • This game was so exciting back in the 90s...the graphic and level design in combination with the music were just great...
