@Kawaiixramen I don't think anybody would say that this is better than VU's original version.

No cover will ever be better than the original, it's not possible.

But as far as covers goes, this is one of the best I've heard.

@notsovelvet Shout 2000 by Disturbed is a cover of Tears for Fears, and i think the disturbed cover is way better. Hurt by Johnny Cash is WAAAAAAAAAAY better than the original that was made by Nine Inch Nails. Well actually, they're not better in a sense of superiority, but i'd rather listen to the covers than the original songs.

i don't understand why everyone always just have to make a comment how someone's cover is worst than the original :DD. well, cover isn't made to compete with the original it's there so the artists can make some kind of a tribute and show their respect and honor of the person the or band they are covering :DD. this is quite a good job btw, and ofc that original is always better no matter what :). the kills = <3

I find it pertinent to remark here that saying covers are "better" or that "it's not possible for a cover to better" etc. are all useless subjective statements that fail to pay the cover, or the original, any attention that doesn't directly rely on the other. Simple value judgements have absolutely no purpose here. None.
