Just by the way that is an 04 GTO so no 6.0 here its a 5.7 LS1 find it funny when people cant even read all the badges that are all over the car

Cutouts are designed to be used when it IS benefitial, as in track use and hi rpm with mods and a tune.

Why give the customer options:
1) Customers ask for it & want everything remote control.
2) Makes installation easier, faster, & less invasive to the vehicle.
3) The unit is programmable and the remote is the interface.
4) More features are always better than less. Comes with a manual switch as well.
