I need most of Maxell and it's better than Memorex.

Guaranteed for life? Tell that to my nan! she DOES record onto VHS everyday. Her soaps and CSI programs everyday without fail unless there's a power cut or the tape snaps lol!

@PGPyramid1 I have always thought Memorex were good value for money. My dad used Memorex tapes mostly (EHQ, SHQ, HS etc.) and Scotch on the odd occasion. My favourite Scotch videos were the grey-reeled ones from the early 90's (remember those) cos they looked so cool! better looking than any ordanairy video. But still Memorex tapes in the late 80's early 90's were of good sturdy build and tape thickness too. They suited well with our AKAI VCR back in the day!

Memorex were better tapes. Had one on the go for 13 yrs recording Brookside every week.
