  • I have stopped for 4 months and yes the Chantix helped. However, I do not reccomend it. Chantix made me put a gun to my wifes face and later had me contemplating suicide. I'm still depressed but doing much better. Pfizer did the study of chantix for the FDA, that's the fox telling you all the hens are in the hen house while feathers spew from its mouth. Side effects are far more common. I never had a mental history but this evil shit can turn you into someone you don't want to be.

  • @reubenprowse Good on you man. There are better ways to kick the habit. Keep those feces spiders away.

  • I took Chantix for over a month and then simply couldn't deal with the bad sleep episodes coupled with absolutely PSYCHO dreams that had nothing to do with my everyday train of thought or life. And the worst part is, the dreams are REAL! Every night, you forget they are just dreams. They're so damn vivid, like you can reach out and touch them.

Then, one morning, after I dreamt about a spider made of feces attacking me, I kicked the rest of the pills in the bin.

  • Wow you really are paranoid hunh LOL i couldnt give a damn if you take anything or even quite smoking at all tbh. I've taken both of the drugs ive mentioned and Zyban is just as good, + it doubles as an anti depresant so. What i said was 100% true and DID end up ruining that relationship, she later on contacted me and tried to patch things up but it was too far gone.

  • I have tried chantix and it really works. I still had withdrawl symptoms but smoking doesn't help while on chantix. This is a very strong drug, I wouldn't recommend taking it very long its not good for your body but better than smoking.

  • i tried it, and i had strange dreams and thats about it, guess some people have diff side effects, or maybe their just much weaker than i am who knows, but i did 14 weeks and its all good, i ended up smoking soon after though due to massive life stresses, but still it worked well

  • I don't smoke anymore, but given the decision to take Chantix or be forced to start smoking again, I would absolutely choose smoking. The fact that people are considering something with such side effects seems ridiculous, there are other effective methods out there.

  • Read up on people who have taken Chantix and had bad reactions. Psychosis, heart attacks, violent episodes, this shit has ruined a lot of lives. Many don't even suffer the bad effects until they come off the drug. READ ABOUT CHANTIX BEFORE YOU TAKE IT.

  • I was a smoker for 4 years. I took Chantix and was able to quit almost immediatley after taking the drug. I just stopped having any interest in smoking. The only side effects I had was when I would try to sleep I felt like I was falling down a roller coaster and woke up. it happened continuously. and I would wake up in the middle of the night with weird lucid dreams. But this effect ONLY LASTED FOR 1 MAYBE 2 NIGHTS of taking Chantix. It Went away. Try Chantix

  • i got a 7 day trial pack... after the 3rd day i quit smoking .....i have went a whole day with out a cig ! i cant afford the 2month presciption so..cold turkey and 1 week supply will have to work.
