I was in Bridgeport earlier today for my first look at Lexington Square, a development of 39 townhomes at 3704 S. Sangamon St, fronting on Donovan Park.

Polo Café, a restaurant, night club and bed and breakfast (yup!) is just a few blocks from Lexington Square so I asked Lexington Homes' Jeff Benach and Regina Castle to join me on a visit to Polo to meet its proprietor, Dave Samber

Dave's an old friend from the 1970s when I was corporate counsel for Illinois NORML (National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws) and Dave was on its board of directors.

In Dave's 25 years in Bridgeport he's created a truly unusual space at Polo Café and invariably serves up something wonderful at the restaurant.
