Pretty sure Ave Luxe is in Rhode Island, not San Francisco. This would also make sense as I live in New York and received an order within a few days.

Great video idea! I have heard of these houses before, but have never tried them out. Good to know they have your seal of approval. I have also heard good things about Slumberhouse.  Another indie house that is starting to get some attention. Also there is YouTube reviewer Kerosene who now has 3 fragrances available. I believe his line is getting picked up by a New York boutique. And I don't know if he counts as "indie" but Andy Tauer is an amazing perfumer and person.
