....on the "History" channel, the Lukla nepal airport was rated the number one most extreme airport. also on the list was Honduras; julilana airport in St., martin; St. barts, and also Gibralter. The rock of gibralter has some harsh thermals that create crosswinds across the runway. gibralter has a main roadway with active traffic that crosses the runway! The british control Gibralter. Spanish wont let the british use spanish air space, gibralter has some high rocky terrain
