I think the wall ended at 7ft1. But I could be wrong...

Was brilliant!

I have to admit I never really thought much of Ellen Whitaker, but WOW. She rode Ladina B brilliantly, and I can officially say I've been transformed! She is now my new idol haha :)
Throughout all that bucking and rearing they came joint first alongside 4 other equally brave riders :)
The way Ellen managed to get Ladina B over that jump at 1:51 is amazing. SO well ridden.
Can I just make it clear that I don't want ANYONE to leave horrible comments about these riders, it takes a lot of guts to jump anything that big, and NONE of those horses were what I would call 'easy' rides.

It was a bit disappointing that there wasn't an overall winner I have to admit. And I think all the riders found it disappointing as well. But that's life and they all did well. We all thought Ladina B was going to clear it, but again thats life. She had just had a new shoe put on and that probably didn't help, so you have to give some credit to Ellen for even staying on her!

As usual it was a fab evening, and I'm sorry for the repetitiveness of the song and the videos haha!!!

Not the best rider on that white horse having trouble, I could tell by her stiffness and her hands she was really mad and her horse was feeding off it. And for a guick second she softened up and so did her horse but then he did it again and she got mad again.

@Mustangify100 I see where you're coming from, but I'm afraid I'd have to disagree with you. Admittedly her hands are stiff and she's showing tension (and no doubt Ladina B did feed off of that), but we saw a video of her in the warm up arena before she came in to do her first round, and Ladina B was absolutely fine, totally relaxed and happy. Ellen appeared to be riding her exactly the same way in the warm up arena as she was in the ring.

@Horseylover118 Well I know what I'm talking about! I've seen it so many times I can't even count. OMG people make mistakes. Even good riders!

@Mustangify100 I never said that you didn't know what you were talking about? I'm not denying that good riders make mistakes either. I've seen it plenty of times too. But what I'm saying is, for a horse who is fine everywhere except in the ring, it might show that she doesn't like the atmosphere. We'll never know for sure anyway, it's just speculation. Without knowing the horse and rider personally, I don't see how any of us can make judgments about them.

@Mustangify100 I'd say it's far more likely that Ladina B was picking up off of the atmosphere in the ring and it was making her nervous. If Ellen had felt her tense up beforehand, that could have been the reason why she stiffened her hands in anticipation. But you could be right- I know my sensitive share pony feeds off even the slightest tension in my hands. x

One....fantastic video!! Two, It's a grey horse to whoever said it was white. Three, I see the horse's problem as a training issues and the horse like many probably knows when the rider won't correct them...a.k.a. the show ring. The warm-up ring was completely different. Which is why the horse was better. Once corrected, I think the horse would have been honest for the remaining class. IMO.

ladina b is a diffcult horse to ride by the looks of it but she is just as worse as xena well maybe not ladina b is deffo WORSE but so cute

@Mustangify100 In all fairness you say you know what your talking about yet you called Ladina B a white horse (yeah it's called grey) and didn't even know who the rider was at first.........it's Ellen Whitaker, how can you not know? o.O
