The Day My Life Changed For the Better
__________________________________________

As I entered the school, everyone was crowding around the front office. Half of the kids had to wait outside the office because there were already a lot of people inside. It was surprising, even for my high school, for every teenager that attended the school to crowd around the front office. Everyone tried to avoid the office as much as possible.

Then I spotted Taylor inside of the office and walking out of it with someone at her side. I didnt recognize who it was, and then I realized who it was. It was the new kid, whatever his name was-I didnt really care.

Taylor approached me then and said, "Out of my way loser."

I giggled menacingly. "Is that anyway to talk to your own sister?"

She rolled her eyes. "Nick, please excuse my outcast sister. She doesnt belong here."

I ignored Nick and started to get into the fight with Taylor. "And you think you do? Youve been to this school for-"

"Okay, we should go now," Taylor said to Nick as she walked away from me.

I rolled my eyes and went to class without even glancing once at Nick.

'Dear Diary,

It is now lunch and I have been engulfed in a swarm of green beans and milk today, as usual. But today the food and drinks are coming less and less every minute. I guess the people dont care much about annoying me because of Nick. I have one thing to thank him for at least.

Nick wasnt in any of my classes, but he might be and that disappoints me. I sit alone in most of my classes in the next few hours, and hed have to sit next to me if I do have him. But he wont have me, Im sure of it.'

The bell rang then.

'Dang, I have to go. Write in you later, probably tomorrow. Bye.

I sighed and put my diary back in my book bag.

"Another typical day," I said to myself as I walked very quickly to class.
