it really does sound so much better in stereo.

Nefertiti has one of those melodies that just seems to never end. I decided to do this version "on the funk tip" as a change of pace. The key for me in improvising over this tune is to always keep coming back to the melody.

Sorry for the video weirdness factor at a few places. I tried re-encoding and it just kept happening so I guess all I can say is "magnetic interference due to solar flares". ;-)

The backing track was created using a drum loop and multi-tracking a bass part using my Roland FP-4. The FP-4 was also used as a controller keyboard for my solo playing and the Rhodes emulator provided by Lounge Lizard VSTi. The midi keyboard displayed on the video with the light-up notes is a free program called Midi Piano Player and is available for download using a link on my website at http://www.lot2learn.com
