Haha, love Doyle, but LOL at a 'Taylor' parlor to get 'that blues sound'.
Some guys just can't get over the fact that most of the old bluesmen from the 20's and 30's were flat broke cats playing on $12 guitars that got passed around between 20 different dudes whenever someone needed rent money. You want that "old blues sound", don't buy a Taylor. Buy an ancient, beat up old Harmony or Kay. Those are the instruments that made 'that sound'.
