116 horses rescued in Arkansas -- December 14, 2010

American Humane Association's Red Star Animal Emergency Services™ team, along with the ASPCA and Humane Society of the United States, assisted in the rescue of 116 horses from a property in Fulton County, Arkansas. Many showed signs of injury and neglect. They were all examined by a veterinarian on the day of the rescue and were given clean water, food and warm shelter.

And it's amazing to see that those horses still lift their heads up and welcome help.

What i saw were the majority of horses in good flesh and a few that were very skinny. Go to any auction and you will se a lot worse.
