I have switched my kit to a smaller "Bonham-style" set-up and am still experimenting with trying to play things as simply, solidly and in the pocket as I can. I was trying to emulate the snare sound that Ricky Lawson during his tenure with Steely Dan. I hope you find it enjoyable. Thanks for watching.

  • That's cool. Rosanna is a bitch to player for a drummer...I can only imagine how tough that must've been.

  • I Love how tight that snare sounds. freakin sweet! 5/5 good song choice

  • @GaryNull you hit the nail on the head. Porcaro is hard to copy. he, Pretty Purdie, and Keith Carlock...all masters of the kit!

  • Nice job. I have a V Club set I bought about 10 years for fun. I play bass and guitar, but love playing the drums the most. I learned Rosanna by Poracaro, and it's a bitch to play, for me at least, . . but I'm a bass player.
