@bachehshamali and why did they name Farsi after the kingdom of PERSIS? Because Persis means land of persians, natives of Persia! Natives of this old language which is unfortunally arabized today! The empire was divided in states, such as Aryana, Persis, Sogdiana, Bactria, Media, Gedrosia and bla bla.. ok? why u think there was a kingdom in south-western Persia named "PERSIS" or "PARSAWA" ? Mother of Farsiye Dari was named Middle-persian(Pahlavi) which was made in south-western Iran more than 1800 years ago! Old-persian mother of Middle-persian was made in the kingdom of PERSIS (Southwestern Iran) more than 5000 years ago! Read some history stupid boy! You afghans are helders of east-iranic languages such as pashto! U only adopted arabized version of our language!
