A quick nonsense videe of my FUCHS ODS 100 combo amp and Line 6 M13 with a brand spanking new Roger Linn Adrenalinn 3 in the FX loop. Playing a Stratocaster with Dimarzio Chopper in bridge and Area 58's in 2/3. I am also using a Herdim Blue pick - which is what that scraping chimey sound is from at the beginning of the video. The M13 is wired using the 4CM -(well actually 3 cables are used with this setup so I guess that is 3CM) running in the effects loop of the Fuchs so I can use the overdrive of the amp. The amp has a clean channel and an overdrive channel and there are various switches on the front left side of the amp control panel which are all about setting the gain structure. There is also reverb on the amp which is off throughout this vid. Amp recorded at bedroom level through a canon camera. Sneakers are Asics.

  • Can i run this in the loop if im only using the effects?

    thanks man.

  • @DavidPercan You can run it in an FX loop and turn off all of the amp sims - however - my experience with using this live has been a nightmare. It is just way more effort than any good you get as an end result. If you're going to use the A3 - buy the programming software and save yourself a lot of time. I've yet to hear this pedal sound good in a live working rig. Awesome for studio though.

  • Have you check how much does the drenalinn color the sound? I was using mine in front of my vibrolux and stopped using it because of thqt. Now I got an orange th30 and gave it a shot through theneffects loop and I can still hear the coloring. What's ur input in that?

  • @guilleonline yes - absolutely the adrenaline colors the sound big time. It really is best as a recording tool because it not only sucks tone - it is damn near impossible to set the levels to play nice with your basic sound. I don't use it live for that reason.

  • Are u a runner?

  • @japasetelagoas yes - as a matter of fact I am headed out for a run in a few minutes!!!

  • @DavidPercan And bigger than my body ofc:D

  • @spakuloid Someone else bought it before i did it so i .. Well. Yeah.

How is it more effort than any good? And what's that software program? I mean, how does it work live, and what.. Is it?:D Just noticed this pedal yesterday evening, so haven't really seen anything at all.

I just know mayer uses them.. Alot of them. For his filter on "i dont trust myself with loving you" and the delay thingy at heartbreak warefare and so on..

  • Damn I hate writing in the iPad. It's a mess!!

  • Thank you!! I thought I was goin ill about it. My wife said I was paranoid aboit, cause I had her connecting and disconnecting the cables from the adrenalinn from the fx loop to compare the sound, hehe. I think I kight give it a go with my nord lead 2x for recording, but imaybe I will have to see it go. I just don't have uch use for it really - thanx again for the reply

  • Good choice! This amp kills the Mark V. Boogie is good, but it is no Fuchs. I have the ODS100 head. LOVE it. Nice tone here.
