to whom it may concern.. TALKBOX and AUTOTUNE are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. tpain pitch corrects his voice in studio as to roger troutman uses a piano and voice serenades the cords(or jus sings along with it)..
AUTOTUNE - pitch correction
TALKBOX - harmonic via piano(or guitar as snoop dogg used)
now with that said tpain didnt imitate roger. may got inspiration but technically he never used a talkbox.

talk box's were effect's units...autotune is intended for folks who can't keep pitch or sing. if anyone owes their success to these guy's. i would say it had to be EPMD & Teddy Riley.
