South Ossetian capital, Tskhinvali, was leveled to the ground by surprise attack of Georgian Army on Aug 8-th at 1 A.M. local. That is a fact, which is impossible to deny. More than half of the residents of Tskhinvali have Russian Passports. So name the country in the world, which would not respond to mass murder of their citizens.

South Ossetian had no interest to escalate conflict with Georgia. Georgia on the other hand wanted to get South Ossetia back, and it tried to do so by breaking all international and UN agreements. This is the cause of todays conflict. Russia had to clean South Ossetian from Georgian army, and hit some military targets in Georgia to prevent another possible attack. US has a double standards in this conflict because it was pouring money in Georgia army bringing instability to the region.

Russia created the Georgian borders that it now finds unacceptable. Russia didn't care about - indeed, defended - Serbia's genocide against the Croats, Bosniacs, and Albanians in the former Yugoslavia, but is ostensibly against the fictitious genocide in South Ossetia. Gorbachev, like the communist he once claimed to be, supports the same old Russian imperialism. Germany and France have both STRONGLY condemned Russia. The Chinese are saying the same thing the rest of the world is saying. India is buying so many weapons from Russia, they dont even MENTION the Russian invasion of Georgia.

Nobody is going to save Russias image, it already showed it hideous face, except everyone was there to see it this time.
