  • The first thing that jumped out at me was the quality of the sound, so I checked the video description to see if I could find what mic you used and I see this won an award for best sound. See, I know what I'm talking about, I'm like Simon Cowell! Sorry, hang on, this isn't about me, it's about your good sound isn't it! Haha, well done on the sound! What mic by the way?

  • @1simonmatthews I used the on-board camera mic. But the camera is a good one, a Sony PD150. I could also plug in an extension lead to the mic for some shots to get the mic close whilst the cam was far away. Also some shots were deliberatley close up for the sound. The award was also given for the subtle sound effects, and use of music.

  • @Calvertfilm Very impressive, thanks for replying! :-)

  • @1simonmatthews No problem. Keep making those movies.

  • @Calvertfilm Will do, thanks for the sub :-)

  • @1simonmatthews Like wise.

  • @TheBlakeBrownshow I see what you mean but really I would have made a more unusual twist normally. The reason for this relatively simple one is that on the DVD version it stops at the end, and the viewer has a choice of 3 endings. So I didn't want them too complicated. This is ending B. In ending A the girl gets killed and the boy just laughs maniacally - he wins. In funny ending C the filming stops and cast & crews break for tea so you never know what happens.

  • @Calvertfilm yes it does youve made one without noticing it has a story the guy making a movie the plot to kill the girl of on film an a twist when he kills him at the end

  • @15379cruellesthunter That's good, as this was meant to show the character couldn't act.

  • 3:25 = mega anal face lol
