You are great!

Viscoelastic foams are not the only ones that stop vibrational energy. That is one of the main functions of several types of closed and open celled foams. The more dense, the more vibration dampening. But I do like its ability to form to the surface which creates better contact area and dispertion of weight.

He showed how much work he puts into making your seat comfortable.
Hit the pause button a few times through the show and check out the detail work. There's a lot to see.

how di u do that so fast :D

Wow that was phenomenal. looks fun. What tools are being used? Do you glue the pieces? type of glue? Where can i find foam? I have a cafe seat i need to upholster. need tips. thanks

We don't use gel pads because they absorb heat in the summer and hold cold in the winter. Medical heating/cooling pads are made out of gel. Gel pads also can not be engineered into the shapes necessary to creating the 3D shapes we need to fix spine alignment issues.

what aboyt gel pads form Blue Diamond Gel?

What's a Wang Chung video? FYI the video was created from 4 hours of actual 8mm digital video, processed with Imovie, and sampled at 1 frame per second (I think, if I remember correctly). Final video was encoded with Idvd and a web res version encoded at the same time.
Wow...some tough comments. Its too much work to show in a video of a coupleminutes, and Im sure the guy doesnt want to give away all of his trade secrets...
Interesting note about the Gel pads- I hadnt considered that they are temperature sensitive and will repsond harsher to extremes in cold and heat.
For the seat Im about to do, Im using Rebond foam, neoprene, etc which can be found at: thefoamfactory com

@captainobvious9999 Thanks for your comments. We just came across an interesting medical study done with 500+ operators who work in seating environments that cause constant vibration to the spine. After 5 years, over 75% had some form of degradation to the spine, herniated discs, etc. The blame is pointed at foams that can't stop vibrational energy. BTW the only foams that can just happen to be our patented visco-elastic foams.
