  • I don't like such a short corset because, as I saw on some girls/women, it makes all the fat go down.. so not cool.. but it's appropriate as a belt, of course, which will tight just a lil bit

  • this is great i have a shorter i guess thats how you would say it torso so my corset always seems to long. i didnt know they made them any shorter this video was great help.

  • @bishonenrancher Hm, I ask because the shop owner's excuse was that she tried steel boned corsets and they rust. I guess her supplier must be unreliable then ><" She says that she would look into finding some steel boned underbusts for me as her shop is in the process of restocking anyway... Anyway, I look forward to seeing you review more corsets so I can widen my search/knowledge!

  • @AnnoyingAsianWitch Nope, I've never had a problem with rusting. If you wear a corset liner or a shirt between your body and the corset, then your corset will be protected against the sweat. You can also dry-clean the corset instead of washing it so that the steel never gets wet. But most bones are coated or galvanized in some way so that they're resistant to rust.

  • @bishonenrancher Thanks for your input. The owner of the site says that somehow being in the wrong temperature (probably my country's weather) affects the steel bonings and they tend to rust, thus the almost entirely plastic boned collection. Have you ever had problems with rusting before?

  • @AnnoyingAsianWitch They don't look like "real" corsets to me. Just by looking at how they fit the mannequin, I'm pretty sure they have plastic bones. I personally wouldn't spend my money on something like that if you are interested in having some waist reduction. :\

  • @bishonenrancher Alright I just found a local shop/website that sells corsets (they do ship internationally) and the prices seem too good to be true, but it's tempting... And not all the items have descriptions (some do and I even found an underbust with steel boning). It's called QueenChloset. They have very few underbusts which disappointed me. It would be easier for me to order from them but I think you might be interested in seeing their stock...

  • @AnnoyingAsianWitch I've had the blue gem corset for over a year and a half now and I don't wear it anymore because I noticed that the grommets are ripping away from the brocade. I was really upset by that because it is so pretty, but it's just that the fabric doesn't stand up to the stress. :( If you had to choose between the blue gem and this one, I'd probably get this one because the fabric holds up better even if the shape is less flattering.

  • @bishonenrancher Okay, if that's the case, should I go for the Leatherotics Blue Gem (which at the moment still has a discount) or the waspie? Last I checked, both are on sale but the Blue Gem is slightly cheaper. I can't decide because I am not aiming for any dramatic waist reduction but a little reduction would be nice since I have a very straight curve-free body. Then the Blue Gem is just so pretty that it would brighten up any outfit! AH DECISIONS!

  • @AnnoyingAsianWitch Yes, this is alright for beginners, but don't expect it to give you a dramatic waist reduction. It has a *very* mild curve in at the waist. I'd wear this more as a fashionable belt than a training corset.
