When I was very young, my mom would often fix me an egg for breakfast. Whenever I didn't want an egg, I would throw a fit and say "Eggs. Poison!" Then I would slip out of my chair onto the floor, whining. She didn't like that very much. lol

That is why I like my egg raw

To think such a big, hulking monster could be destroyed by something seemingly so small and insignificant.

@NaiTaiDai Eggs are a symbol of life and renewal. You see what the Nome King has done to Oz, so you see what he represents. Dorothy brings Oz back to life.

I would had equipped dorothy with a De Walt kango and chipped his ass too bits no need for a chickens egg -)

Nomes must be stupid and evil creatures, since eggs are a symbol of goodness, right?
-
Let's see: In Oz, wicked witches are killed with water and nomes are killed with chicken eggs.
Wonder how they'll handle the Jester in "Dorothy of Oz?"

@captaintaco2345 Those are 'Gnomes' with a G. These are 'Nomes' with an N.

@micahstork One, it's a cool plot point that comes from the book this was based on, Ozma Of Oz, which was written in 1907; long before veganism was a thing. Two, The Wizard of Oz was not an allegory at all-- it was a fairy tale written for American children. The allegory idea is cute and matches in some places, but it doesn't hold up when you actually read the book.
Love the clay stopmotion.
