Ramone describes and demonstrates the VAM (Vocal Acoustic Monitor) by Vam Acoustics www.vamacoustics.com
Vam can be used without a microphone for vocal training on the go, can be used free standing on a microphone stand instead of holding it to allow you to practice singing to yourself while you practice playing your instrument, Vam also integrates to most microphones to allow a singer to hear themselves during rehearsals. During rehearsal, Vam is great to help promote backup vocalists to stay on pitch.

  • Hi, there is no strap available; but I have heard that some people tuck the VAM up a side of a headphone..You could try tucking it up a head band.

To have the dynamic capability it is best to use clipped to a mic stand so you can manage your vocal volume level as you would singing in a studio environment.

  • Is there a strap or headband you can use instead of holding it? I don't own a mic stand currently bu would love to use this to hone in my intonation while playing my acoustic guitar.
