After filming my Christmas Gift Ideas video, and feeling well and truly in the Christmas spirit, I decided to try out a Christmas party look. For all of you who have been asking, I've kept the make-up here similar to the make-up I had on in the gift ideas film, only with a bit of added glam on the eyes and lips!

Festive party make-up shouldn't be about trends - just have fun with it (If you haven't already, make sure you check out the looks I created for this month's Glamour magazine for some ultra-glam, embellished, glitter-filled party make-up ideas) Here, I've used a mixture of universally flattering, shimmering browns and golds on the eyes which really compliment the strong, ultra-glossy lip. Party make-up is definitely an excuse to pile on the shimmer and shine! Plus, rich red and gold colours like I have used here automatically make you think of Christmas.

P.S. On my nails is a red glitter varnish by Pop - called Xmas! It's a great product which gets your make-up Christmas-ready in minutes - just remember it needs an extra layer of top coat (2 in total) to make the glitter really shine.

Just wanted to say this look is amazing!! And I found that a good alternate for the Illamasqua Pure Pigment in Ore is Loreal Chrome Shine in silver brown! Goes with the No7 Cappucino shade really well!!

I was at a NYE party this past week (obviously) and I just wanted you to know that I used your technique for making dramatic lips last like in your Dita Von Teese inspired matte red lip vid. It honestly is the best technique! My lipstick didn't budge the entire night, even after eating and drinking. I even got asked how I got my lipstick to stay on!

Hi Lisa! I just wanted to thank you for this look! I happened to have the pure pigment in Ore (I absolutely LOVED the color when I saw it a couple months ago!) and was packing for a Christmas Vacation. This look really did come in handy - and it was very quick, understated and chic when I wore it Christmas day for a Family gathering. The pigment did drop down a bit though - maybe I should have used a better eyeshadow before applying. Thank you so much for your videos!

Could you be any more fabulous?! I normally don't like a lot of make-up, but you look incredible! Especially like the lipstick tips.

Could you do a tutorial on minimal make-up? I know you've done everyday looks, but I'm looking for a way to wear something simple - like a pop of lipstick or eyeshadow while the rest of that face looks natural.

Oh and maybe a quick tip on how you blow out/style your hair and your products?
