Thursday marks a somber anniversary for the Oologah-Talala School District. One year earlier seven students became infected with a strain of meningitis, including seven year old Jeremiah Mitchell, whose life was dramatically changed by the disease.
@LouAnn1985 ~ This child has every right to be alive. How can you call this little boy "something"? He is a child, a human being. I don't know this family. I can't imagine the pain they have all endured. They have Jeremiah and he is thriving which is what matters the most.
@LouAnn1985 Just because someone doesnt look like you, or doesnt have all of his limbs doesnt mean he should be alive. better to live a life, then to not live at all.
