your right about that, but in our current system, which doesnt even remotely look like the constitution, the sheriff is indeed the highest level of law enforcement that people will listen too.
too many people in the US havent even read the constitution, they have no idea, but they understand the authority of a sheriff.
the sheriff is what will bring us back to put power where it belongs, which is in the constitution.
and your 100% correct about the lack of militias, i hope that changes soon

we havent, thats why government has expanded at the highest rate in the past 100 years.
you may have them, but they certainly arent functioning.
we need to fix that.

Your uniforms may make you targets of Free Americans who are defending the Constitution, the rule of law, home, families and liberty.

I think you should listen very carefully to Sheriff Mack who explains it pretty clearly.
You are correct to the degree that Federal gov has jurisdiction over the individual State citizen (which is seldom if ever) but the Sheriff is the 'elected' law enforcement of the people. He can challenge the Federal jurisdiction and deny their entry into his county. By law the feds must report first to the Sheriff (but they seldom do anymore).

With all due respect, that is not correct. The Constitution is the "supreme law of the land" (Article VI) and the"Militia " (Article I, sec.8) has the responsibility to "execute the Laws of the Union"(enforce the law). The sheriff is not even mentioned in the Constitution. The problem is we have not had a properly functioning State Militia( by statue) anywhere in this country for over 100 years. This is the goal of the "Committees of Safety organization".
