I spent "The Rapture" watching them beachside at the Hangout Music Festival. They finished the set with this song, and the heavens alligned. So if this is pergitory, chain me to the wall.

I once saw this documentary of the White Stripes on their Canadian tour, and I remember this part where Jack White talked about always challenging himself when he played live. I love how the Avetts do that. Sure, hiring a percussionist would have been easier, but they'd rather smack the banjo and stomp the floor. I love it. Music, live or in studio, should be organic like that imho.
