Madden 09 Nano/Blitz: Nickel Normal - SS Zone Blitz

One of the blitzes I've come up with in 09. Discovered this blitz several months ago, and had kept it under wraps until now.

And when I say "about 10 minutes ago", I mean several months ago. Originally made this video right after I found the blitz for my crew members, and decided just to upload it as-is, rather than re-doing it.

An alternate setup for anyone who is quick-snapping you, is to:

1) Freeze Defense.
2) Fake blitz.
3) Place SS on inside hip of right-side DE (Don't reblitz him).
4) Place both MLB's where they're supposed to be as shown by this vid.
5) Blitz the MLB you're supposed to as shown by this vid, and do whatever you want with the nickelback.

If set up correctly, it'll work just as well...It's just harder to get the setup just right. Although when mastered, it is quicker.

I also know I sound like a blithering idiot in the audio. I'm way too lazy to re-record the stuff now, so get over it.

Also note that this is *my* blitz. I'm not someone who steals someone else's work and posts it on youtube. I came up with this myself.

Not really as hard as it would seem. You just gotta be really quick on the sticks.

Pretty much every blitz leaves the flats open. Not a surprise.

Want to cover the flats? Playmaker the right-side CB to a flat zone, the nickleback to a flat zone, and play a cover-2 style of D.

B receiver and the halfback are both wide open. If you are accustomed to playing a West coast dink and dunk offense, this blitz is no issue at all.

Its a great blitz but running but don't run it mutiple times a good player would have noticed that the hb can gain at least 5-8 yards at 1:42 but the player has to notice it in a short amount of time.

It's really not a nana just an overload to one gap....call it what you like but thats what it is...B and A were wide open just the computer is clueless
