The Joy of Kung Fu Banquet was a collection of Masters representing many schools from all over. We were invited by Grand Master Lijun Wang and asked to perform a demonstration. Golden Dragon Mandarin Kung Fu focuses on combat application for the street. Before we appeared on stage there were many practitioners who displayed Tai Chi. When we brought the mats up the announcer asked, " I wonder why they need those." After the 1st take down he said, " Ya, they need them." It was a fun experience.
That is amazing. Your sifu is well trained so obviously. Wonderful to see.

Only in the slowmo section was I able to see what the taichi guy did to that mans back. That is very fast and well done. Like sped up, but not sped up, obviously.

At 1:22 you see the control of the entire body by the roll of the head and arm: Tai Chi Chuan. It was hard to see the kick to the groin that destroyed my balance before the take down. Brett and I wore cups so it could look as real as possible. The added elbow smash was so the attacker would not be able to get up. I'm a big dude and Shifu Cody took me down like I weighed nothing.

succinct and smooth, damaging but not with brute force but precise control; most interesting though I can't claim to fully identify the tai chi elements involved. What however was the move at 1:28, it looked like quick succession of blows or was there an applied pressure on the clavicle accupoint?

1:27 to 1:28 - it looks like the Master is hitting the student in synchopation to the guitar and drums - cool!
Master Cody is FAST. Wow. And he was nice to his student on the shoulder throw, didn't cuase any twisting damage, sort of lofted him gentle.
I think it takes real skill to show a technique, make it work, and still be kind, gentle and flowing to your friends who are the temporary "bad guys" in the process.
Well done, sir.
