  • Whatever happened to Jo Baker? She was one of the most amazing singers I ever saw. Rock My Soul is still one of my all-time favorite albums.

Thank You for posting, MoondogMayne! You've brought back some great memories.

  • One of their female vocalists passed away a few years ago. I think it was Jo. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

  • Love this song and Rock Bottom. What a shame to hear that Jo Baker died already. I loved her voice too. Too bad this band wasn't more recognized. The last time I say him was at Slims in SF. He and Boz Scaggs are old friends. Good memories...thanks for sharing.

  • do they know they are playing THE BEST SONG EVER ???

  • November 1966 : Jo Baker, a popular Bay Area rock 'n' roll singer, died Monday at Highland Hospital in Oakland after a long bout with liver disease. She was 48 and had been seriously ill for about two years.

  • I miss when he had jo baker an the pointer sisters singing back up

  • In the states I was "jailbait". A man in his twenties caught with an underage girl could mean jailtime. I am sure he was wanting a woman who might be interested in a little action. Still true in many states, esp if the relationship ends in pregnancy. Utah is one of the few states that is lax on this--(go figure). This was in Montana.

  • @julesmn I don`t understand (I`m Canadian). Why would he kick you out if you were 16? Still, it must have been awsome!

  • @ 3:25 - that's the first time I've seen a Chinese lady play guitar like that.

  • Goooood!!! nice Cool!

  • I Love this Song. What a time we had dancing and groovin to Elvin and his entourage. Beautiful Times. Thanks for this.

  • One of the most under-rated ever,Youd never forget a Elvin Bishop show
