  • how long until you see improvement in your speed(considering you do this continuously)? Thanks

  • @manchesterunited1232 This is something you should make part of your daily routine. It works well as a warmup to playing or working out. You will continue to see improved foot coordination, which will help with speed, balance, and stability. You can make the sequences more difficult as you progress to challenge yourself to get even better!

  • is this better than skipping rope?

  • @mambaized It is different than skipping rope. This drill focuses on development of neuromuscular pathways that focus on accuracy of foot placement as well as speed. Jumping rope is usually focused more on absolute foot speed (rapid jumps without focus on coordination).

  • i was thinking what if i did suicides with 3-5lb ankle weights on will that make me faster?

or should i do my basketball practice with ankle weights on?

  • @BWeiChen Sorry I missed you comment!! I would not recommend using ankle weights to run, if you would like more of a challenge move your suicides outside to a hill!!! This will provide more of a challenge than the level floor!!
